A splash. A red flashing knife, where he sank. Splash. It seems, blood drops have emerged from the depth of the sea. Splash. A little mermaid jumps into the foaming waves. A red light, head turned down, loose hair, silence. Red drops are sinking into the sea. The sea is turning, now the drops are swimming upwards. Splash. A red flashing knife, where he pearces the surface. Splash. Where he returns to the surface. Back into the little mermaids hand. But his eyes are asleep. Splash. Blood embraces the canopy. Splash. Blood fills up the sea. And his eyes are dead.

April Veselko is a young and talented dancer, taking part in the wholesome dance education programme at Plesna Izba Maribor. She received several awards for her chorographical miniatures in the frame of the best idea award of Opus, the international competition of young creators. In the year 2011 she staged the premier of her debut performance Dvomine and gave proof of her astonishing artistic maturity.
